Agent in Training

Connect with prospective customers through leads, referrals, outbound calls, networking, and community outreach
Ask questions to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate coverage
Prepare quotes and sell Auto, Home, Life, Business, and other insurance products
Follow up with prospects and manage the sales pipeline
Build long-term customer relationships that generate retention and referrals
Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional coverage
Work toward individual and agency sales goals
Develop insurance knowledge and sales skills through ongoing coaching and training
Progress toward leadership roles or potential agency ownership

• Entry-level to experienced candidates
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable working toward measurable goals
• Confidence speaking with customers by phone and in person
• Persistence and ability to stay motivated when hearing "no"
• Coachable, dependable, and willing to learn
• Sales or customer-facing experience preferred, but not required
• Active Michigan insurance licensing is a plus, or willingness to complete required licensing
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
• Ability to commute to the office location regularly
• Active Michigan Property & Casualty Insurance license is a plus, not required
• Active Michigan Life Insurance License is a plus, not required
