Manager – Asia Market West

Asia Sales & Partner Engagement

• Work with the Asia sales team and customers to expand product sales through distributor and end-customer partnerships
• Develop strategies for Asian food service customers and Asian grocery markets
• Conduct product training sessions with key accounts and distributors
• Collaborate with the Asia team on customer marketing activities supporting company growth
• Develop and execute sales and marketing programs to achieve annual sales and profitability goals
• Execute ITO EN branded product initiatives with the SVP and regional sales teams
• Support new product development, pricing strategies, and marketing activities
• Identify and implement line extensions and new product opportunities with Production teams
• Analyze consumer trends and research data
• Solicit and sell ITO EN products to Asia Market, technology, and Asian grocery accounts in the assigned territory
• Sell displays and new products while maximizing product placement
• Find opportunities to grow the Asia territory and remain the vendor of choice
• Organize, rotate, and stock shelves during store visits
• Maintain product levels in beverage sets, dry shelves, cold boxes, and tea sets
• Meet customer service expectations through communication, problem resolution, and follow-up
• Participate in distributor ride-alongs to strengthen relationships, open accounts, and sell new items
• Place POS materials and coupons to maximize product visibility
• Provide store reset support and schematic enforcement
• Implement strategic marketing and retail support plans
• Assist with trade shows and special events
• Assist supervisors with distributor and retail relationships and regional execution
• Complete required reporting responsibilities and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets
• Attend required company and team meetings

• Fluency in Chinese and English
• Additional Korean or Japanese language skills are a plus
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs. with ease and dexterity
• Ability to work in store/warehouse conditions, setting up displays and merchandising shelves
• Ability to frequently lift, bend, and squat
• Ability to calculate and consider margins, costs, and other financial factors for pricing and promotional decisions
• Ability to evaluate deals and programs based on cost, benefit, relationships, and long-term versus short-term impact
• Strong time-management skills
• Minimum of two years of grocery retail sales experience with a proven track record of meeting sales objectives
• Strong management and organizational skills
• Experience working with minimal supervision
• Valid driver’s license
• Current vehicle liability insurance
• Driving record within MVR policy guidelines
• BS/MS degree in Business Administration or a related field

Proficient in analyzing consumer trends and executing marketing programs to drive profitability and growth.
