Business Development Representative – Recovery

• Grow the facility’s lines of service and levels of care by developing and retaining referrals from professional referral sources
• Represent the facility to the public and host public visitors
• Develop and implement business development programs in consultation with the Director of Business Development
• Maintain schedules of primary referral sources and document every contact in the CRM system
• Maintain account information, referral/admission records, statistics, reports, and business development materials
• Develop and maintain new account relationships and markets
• Create strategies to increase business in highly competitive markets
• Develop relationships with key referral sources and maintain targeted referral source contacts
• Conduct community workshops, seminars, and facility tours to educate clients, families, community members, and referral sources
• Represent the facility at civic and professional functions and act as a liaison between the facility, referral sources, and the general public
• Manage referral-source leads and ensure an efficient admissions process
• Collaborate with admissions, discharge planners, social workers, case managers, physicians, management, and education staff
• Maintain industry awareness through self-education, peer education, and professional and community involvement
• Attend department meetings and provide reports on reviews, schedules, sales forms, and other reporting requirements
• Generate face-to-face meetings and admissions activity according to goals and document activity in the CRM

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Behavioral Health, Marketing, or related field preferred
• Two or more years’ related experience in healthcare business development and marketing role preferred
• Good understanding of the local market and referral base
• Organized and able to multitask
• Well-developed and effective relational skills
• Must be able and willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, early mornings, and weekends
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must maintain automobile insurance coverage and have access to an automobile, where facility requires
