Job Summary Openwork is seeking, on behalf of our client—a leading industrial distribution company—an Inside Sales Representative to join their team. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-tier customer service, generating accurate quotes, and closing sales. This position focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers and prospects while working closely with internal operations and business development teams to drive revenue.

Key Responsibilities Customer Support & Consultation:
Serve as a dedicated point of contact to address inquiries, communicate product specifications, and help customers identify the best solutions for their project needs.

Quoting & Order Processing:
Provide fast, accurate information regarding product availability, specifications, and pricing; prepare and deliver competitive sales quotes.

Account & Pipeline Management:
Engage in heavy daily email and online inventory management. Contact prospects via phone to qualify leads and move opportunities through the sales pipeline.

Team &

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner closely with support, account management, and business development teams to ensure seamless customer service and project delivery.

Market Awareness & Reporting:
Stay current on industry trends and product developments. Keep leadership informed of key sales activities and metrics through timely reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience:

Prior experience in inside sales, account management, or customer service within industrial distribution or a related field.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a business-related or technical field is preferred (or equivalent practical experience).Technical

Skills:

Computer literate with strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and online inventory management systems.

Core Competencies:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Self-starter capable of managing multiple priorities independently or as part of a collaborative team.

Adaptable and open to new ideas in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
