Role
Business development manager focusing on metabolomics services across biopharma, research, and commercial markets, specifically in the San Francisco Bay area.
Responsibilities- meet sales targets through strategic territory planning, prospecting, developing customer relationships, and closing deals
- advocate for Metabolon's technology to enhance market awareness
- lead and coordinate with internal teams for study design and project execution
- utilize CRM for pipeline management and forecasting
- prepare compelling presentations
- and negotiate contracts
- Bachelor’s in Life Sciences
- 3-5+ years in life sciences sales, ideally within ‘omics or metabolomics labs
- proven strategic selling and prospecting skills
- experience managing complex partnerships, negotiations, and account ownership
- excellent communication and presentation skills
- proficiency with Salesforce and MS Office
- willing to travel 50-60%
- Master’s or PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, or related fields
- MBA
- professional sales training
- experience in metabolomics or laboratory environments
- focus on metabolomics service sales, strategic territory execution, customer relationship development, and cross-functional collaboration
- location in or willingness to relocate to SF Bay area; extensive travel required.
