Duties & Responsibilities:

As a PET/CT Research Collaboration Scientist
, major responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing scientific collaborations at luminary institutions and driving collaborative projects leading to impactful publications, external grant applications, and/or patent applications
  • Identifying, building, and fostering strong collaborative relationships with key thought leaders in the region
  • Maintaining clinical and technical expertise, shaping discussions with R&D teams and research partners on the definition, development, evaluation, and testing of prototypes and new products
  • Keeping customers and collaboration partners informed and up to date about United Imaging’s technologies
  • Establishing research projects with clinical partners, tracking milestones and deliverables.
  • Drafting, negotiating, and managing research contracts with support from legal, regulatory, and compliance
  • Maintaining accurate budget assessments and contributing to internal strategic budget planning
  • Effectively communicating with United Imaging’s internal colleagues and leadership
Qualification & Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical / Nuclear Engineering, or related fields
  • A strong clinical and technical background in the field of PET/CT with a proven track record of scientific publications
  • Proven ability in leading research projects and collaborations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Professional proficiency in written and spoken English (fluency in French, Spanish and/or Italian is a plus)
  • Willing and able to travel up to 50% within Europe, including short term international trips
