CETEC is an international scientific consultancy focused on optimizing occupant health and performance. CETEC now expands its presence in the U.S. and is recruiting dedicated individuals for its environmental testing team.
The U.S. hub is located in the San Francisco Bay Area; the work takes place at Mountain View. Two short‑term contract arrangements will be needed for the week of January 10th, with the possibility of longer‑term employment. Compensation is commensurate with qualifications and experience, starting at $30 per hour.
You will conduct, to the highest level of quality, a range of field testing and sampling on the environmental impact of a potential source of pollutants affecting Indoor Air Quality (IAQ).
Responsibilities- Understand the scope of works to be conducted.
- Plan, prepare, and manage all scheduled site‑work.
- Collect all samples and record measurements as per the scope of works.
- Adhere to OH&S legislation at all times:
- Be familiar with your responsibilities;
- Ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times;
- Report any OH&S issues to your manager immediately upon occurrence.
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree welcomed) in a STEM field of study related to one or more of the following specialties:
Architecture, Engineering, Environmental Science, or Building Operations and Facilities Management. - LEED and WELL Accredited Professional designation desired.
