Location: California
Astera Institute is seeking a Molecular Design & DNA Nanotechnology Lead to design and wet-lab fabricate a DNA-origami electrostatic actuator. You will model mechanical behavior with coarse-grained simulations, fold origami under controlled conditions, and anchor the structure to a device surface.
You will lead a small, interdisciplinary team and collaborate with device-physics, controls, and computational colleagues, reporting to the project lead.
