Location: Nevada

Pay:Base Wage starting at $16.92; increased based on experience

Incentive Eligible Position:Yes

Essential Functions:

Patrolling the hospital premises and identifying suspicious activity
Ensuring that the security arrangements in the hospital like computers, alarm systems and close circuit cameras are functioning properly
Follow set methods of hospital security and recommending upgrading of the existing system if needed.
Placing miscreants under citizen’s arrest until they can be handed over to the law enforcement officials.
Monitor all areas of the hospital for possible threats.
In case of fire or bomb threats, taking charge of evacuating the hospital.
Forming a liaison between the hospital and law enforcement agency.
Maintains security logs and reports and activity.
Report any facility issues such as fire hazards or leaking water pipes.

Physical Demands:
Requires standing, sitting or walking for up to 8 hours or longer per day.
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous Security experience
Healthcare experience
