Overview

Provide fire, safety, and security protection for Mercy's coworkers, patients, and visitors. Promote and practice fire and safety prevention. Perform all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our Mission, Values, and Mercy Service Standards.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma; 18 years of age or older
• Licensure:
  Valid State driver's license;
  Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required (within 90 days of hire)
• Certification/Registration:
  Complete Basic 16hr Public Safety/Security course within 90 days of hire (May be done as part of licensure);
  Officers in areas where there isn’t a licensing body, completed IAHSS Basic.
• Other Skills and Knowledge:
  Ability to read and write the English language

  Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required
• Experience:
  
  Previous Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience
