• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related screening procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal items entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established screening protocols.
• Verify identification, credentials, and/or shipment documentation before permitting access to restricted areas, loading zones, and/or operational spaces.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report observations through the appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
