Full Time Security Officer
3rd Shift – Full Time
Monday through Thursday 9:00 pm to 5:00 am (Friday through Sunday – OFF)
Pay: $19.00 per hour

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests promptly and courteously
• Manage all guest/visitor access, eject trespassers or violators when necessary
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
• Document and maintain a visitor log and notify residents of arrivals
• Assist in protecting people and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
• Monitor for suspicious behavior to help prevent vandalism, theft, or other criminal activity
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
• Warn violators of infractions (e.g., loitering, smoking, possession of prohibited items)
• Respond to distress calls, alarms, and emergencies (e.g., fire, injuries, unauthorized individuals) by contacting local first responders
• Identify and report any safety, security, or situational concerns promptly
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)
• Enforce all rules and regulations consistently
• Perform additional duties as directed by management

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to obtain a valid State security license
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience OR one year of security experience
• Pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug)
• Position requires occasional crawling, crouching, climbing stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping, and walking for extended periods
