MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• One year as Deputy Sheriff I in Alpine County or two years in other law enforcement.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Completion of college-level coursework leading to an associate’s degree in criminal justice, police science, or closely related field (desirable).
• Basic P.O.S.T. certificate (required);
  Intermediate P.O.S.T. certificate (desirable).
• Public safety CPR certificate (desirable).
• Valid California driver’s license.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Range 43B: $34.38-$41.80/hr approx.: 8hrs/week. This is a part-time position with no benefits.
