Safeguards Enforcement Analyst – Age-Appropriate Design

• Build and execute enforcement workflows that keep our products safe
• Focus on detecting and mitigating potential harm
• Design and architect automated enforcement systems and review workflows
• Partner with Engineering and Data Science teams to optimize detection models
• Review flagged content to drive enforcement and policy improvements
• Enforce usage policies with a focus on detecting and mitigating potential harmful use of AI systems
• Work with Legal, Public Policy, and Privacy stakeholders
• Support the Safeguards policy design team by providing detailed feedback

• Experience in trust and safety, online child safety, age assurance, privacy, product policy, or a related field
• Subject matter expertise in one or more of: age assurance or age verification systems, age-appropriate design, child online safety, privacy-preserving verification methods, or content classification for young people
• Experience driving cross-functional initiatives with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Policy partners
• Experience navigating evolving regulatory landscapes and enforcement best practices with regards to age assurance
• A thoughtful perspective on the privacy/safety tradeoffs inherent in age verification
• Strong written communication skills
• Comfort using data (SQL or similar tools) to measure what's working
• Excellent judgment and the ability to collaborate with team members

Demonstrates expertise in trust and safety, particularly in age assurance and online child safety, while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product policies and enforcement workflows. Proficient in using data analysis tools to inform decision-making and policy improvements.
