Location: CaliforniaResponsibilities
Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols to ensure the safety and security of campground guests, facilities, and natural resources.Monitor campground activities and enforce campground rules, regulations, quiet hours, parking restrictions, and fire safety requirements.Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests, answering questions, and resolving concerns in a professional manner.Respond to emergencies, accidents, disturbances, and other incidents; contact emergency services when necessary.Inspect campground facilities and grounds for safety hazards, maintenance needs, and operational issues, and report concerns promptly.Secure buildings, gates, equipment, and campground amenities during assigned shifts.Document incidents, violations, guest interactions, patrol activities, and maintenance concerns through accurate reports and logs.Assist with emergency evacuations, public safety efforts, and special events as directed.Maintain effective communication with the Park Ranger Lead and campground management regarding security, safety, and operational matters.Promote a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for all campground visitors while protecting campground assets and resources.Assist with special events, campground operations, and public safety activities as assigned.Participate in required training, safety meetings, and emergency preparedness exercises.Perform other duties as assigned to support campground operations and guest services.Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.Previous experience in security, public safety, customer service, hospitality, campground operations, or a related field preferred.Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record.Strong communication, customer service, and conflict-resolution skills.Ability to remain calm and respond effectively during emergencies and stressful situations.Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.Ability to prepare accurate reports and maintain records.Ability to walk, stand, patrol, and work outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.Indian Preference Policy
