Hudson Services is seeking a Security Officer to protect facilities, assets, and personnel supporting oil and gas valve and actuator services in Houston, TX. Responsibilities include controlling site access, monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, conducting facility and yard patrols, enforcing safety and security procedures, and responding to incidents or emergencies. The Security Officer will complete incident reports, coordinate with supervisors and local responders, and support visitor and contractor management.
This role requires vigilance, clear communication, and a strong commitment to safety, integrity, and teamwork in an industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Control facility access for employees, visitors, and contractors
- Monitor CCTV, alarms, and security systems
- Conduct regular patrols of buildings, yard, and perimeter
- Enforce safety, security, and badge protocols
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
- Document and report security incidents and hazards
- Coordinate with supervisors and local emergency responders as needed
- Support vehicle and equipment checks at entry/exit points
- Assist with safety drills and emergency preparedness activities
- Provide professional customer service to staff and visitors
