Grid Source is seeking a Construction Operator in La Place, LA to join our fast paced and fast-growing team!

• A current CDL or chauffeur's license in the state of Louisiana is preferred
• Prior experience in utility locating, equipment operation, or a related field is typically required
• Proficiency in using utility locating equipment and tools
• Ability to operate and maintain excavation and construction machinery
• Strong understanding of underground utility systems and safety practices
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions and perform physical tasks
• May work outdoors in various weather conditions and potentially hazardous environments
• May include irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on project needs and emergencies

• Locating utilities
• Locating Horizontal Directional Drill Head (Able to use Subsite, Digi-trac, U-mag locating systems)
• Horizontal Direction Drill (Able to Operate Ditch witch, or Vermeer)
• Electrofusion
• Excavator Operator
• Muller Steel Tapping Machine (E-5, and D-5 tapping tools)
• MTD Deason Steel Tapping Machine
