6G Structural Welders - Orange CA - Up to $34/hr

Matrix Service is hiring 6G structural welders in Orange, CA to perform precision welding on tanks and structures to ASME and API codes. This role requires certifications in multiple welding processes, strong blueprint reading skills, and the ability to work safely at heights and in varying conditions. Ideal candidates are experienced welders who can work independently with high accuracy.

• Welding certifications (minimum GMAW/FCAW 6G; GTAW, SMAW, SAW preferred)
• Ability to read blueprints, codes, and weld symbols
• Proficiency with measuring devices and welding processes
• Prior fabrication environment experience
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in hot/cold conditions, and at heights
• Must pass DISA drug testing and safety training

• Certified in multiple welding codes (ASME, API-650-620)
• Experience in fit-up activities and fabrication shop work
• Strong math, technical, and safety-focused skills
