Maintenance Manager - Suffield, CT

## Description

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead, supervise, and develop a team of maintenance technicians and millwrights
* Oversee maintenance and repair of textile equipment
* Manage facility systems including HVAC, compressed air, electrical, plumbing, and building infrastructure
* Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime
* Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues and provide technical guidance to the team
* Plan and execute equipment installations, upgrades, and facility improvements
* Coordinate with production to prioritize repairs and optimize equipment performance
* Manage maintenance budgets, parts inventory, and vendor relationships
* Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety standards, and company policies
* Maintain accurate maintenance records, KPIs, and inventory
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency, and cost reduction## Qualifications

* Qualifications:

*** 5+ years of maintenance or millwright experience in a manufacturing environment
* 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
* Strong knowledge of textile manufacturing equipment preferred
* Experience with facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, etc.)
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
* Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
* Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning
* Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
