Position Overview The Broadband Installation Technician connects the telecommunication services in customers’ homes and offices. This position tests and troubleshoots to ensure televisions, computers, and wireless devices are connected while maintaining well-organized cables and cords. The Broadband Installation Technician is on time, communicates proactively, is prepared for the task at hand, and also provides respectful, patient, and thorough explanations of the services installed to ensure a best-in-class customer experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Install telecommunication services in customers’ homes and offices; test and troubleshoot equipment and connections to ensure working properly

Thoroughly and patiently provide education to customers on the services installed and answer all customer questions prior to leaving the premises

Arrive on time for scheduled appointments, and communicate with customers proactively to advise when you will arrive and ensure they will be onsite

Utilize test equipment to ensure signal strength and connection

Process work orders prior to heading out, ensuring you have all necessary equipment and tools

Review work orders and work performed prior to leaving the premises to ensure work is complete and of the highest quality

Clean and maintain the interior and exterior of company vehicles, communicating any performance or maintenance issues to the Manager and Fleet Director Adhere to driving and safety laws and company policies at all times

Other projects or duties as assigned
