Position overview

To perform preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure all credit union owned buildings and grounds are properly maintained and continue to always operate in a safe and efficient manner.

What You’ll Do
  • As a Facilities Technician, you’ll help keep our buildings, grounds, and systems running smoothly across multiple locations.

    Key responsibilities include:
  • Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems
  • Conduct regular inspections and complete repairs as needed
  • Maintain grounds (landscaping, snow removal, lot upkeep)
  • Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on ATMs
  • Respond to facility requests from branches and departments
  • Coordinate and oversee work performed by outside vendors when needed
  • Maintain inventory of facility supplies and materials
  • Assist with upkeep and maintenance of department vehicles
  • Support a safe, secure, and professional environment aligned with Alliance standards
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–2 years of maintenance or skilled trade experience
  • Strong working knowledge of building systems and basic repairs
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Valid driver’s license (required) and clean driving record
  • OSHA 10 and EPA 608 certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)

Work Environment &

Physical Requirements

This role requires working in a mix of office, outdoor, and maintenance environments.

  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, and climbing stairs or ladders (up to 20–30 feet); ability to access tight spaces (crawl spaces, ceilings, mechanical rooms)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 75 lbs. with assistance; push/pull equipment as needed
  • Regular use of hand and power tools, including tasks requiring fine motor skills
  • Sufficient vision and hearing to inspect facilities, identify issues, and communicate effectively
  • Exposure to varying conditions including weather, noise, dust, and equipment
  • Ability to wear required PPE and follow safety protocols
  • Travel between branch locations required
