Salary: $6,291.00 - $7,547.00 per Month
Location: 44750 60th Street West, Lancaster, CA 93536
Job Type: 12 Month Limited Term - Full Time
Working Hours: Monday through Friday, Varies
Responsibilities- Instruct and direct the work crew of plumbers and incarcerated persons to install, maintain, inspect, and repair standard plumbing equipment concerning water, gas, propane, sewage, and Fire Control System.
- Maintain order, supervise conduct of incarcerated persons, prevent escape and injury to themselves or others, secure working areas, inspect premises, and search incarcerated persons for contraband such as weapons or illegal drugs.
- Ensure the conduct of incarcerated persons is supervised by staff during movement to and from work areas.
- Completion of the Classification Specification for Plumber II (Correctional Facility).
- Minimum qualification as specified in the Classification Specification.
- Current State Exam/Employment Application STD Form 678.
- Background investigation using Live Scan Fingerprinting;
Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment and annually thereafter. - Proof of qualifications; unofficial transcripts may be required; official transcripts may be required upon appointment.
