Job Summary
Local heavy highway construction company, established in 1977, is seeking a full-time shop mechanic to maintain and repair diesel- and gas-powered construction trucks, vehicles, trailers, and small engine equipment. Candidates must have a minimum of 5+ years hands‑on experience working on Ford, GM, or similar brands. Additional skills in welding, fabrication, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshooting are a plus. Must be self‑motivated, able to work with others or independently, manage time effectively, and take pride in dependable, high‑quality workmanship.
Applicants must be reliable, trustworthy, safety‑conscious, and 100% drug‑free. Starting wage is $48.02 per hour or Journeyman wages through the 513 Operating Engineers Union.
