Make Lead​/Carpentry

The Make Ready Lead position has the responsibility of leading a small team of 2-3 people to complete unit turns and small make ready projects. We are a property management company that manages mostly single family houses and small apartment buildings throughout St. Louis City and County. This is a scattered-site management company, and team members are expected to drive their own vehicle between sites.

Mileage reimbursements are provided.

TASKS

• Complete estimates and adhere to budgetary guidelines
• Must have strong carpentry, drywall repair, and painting skills
• Ability to complete repairs involving plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall and painting, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
• Tasks like installing cabinets, vanities, faucets, toilets, flooring, blinds, and others will be part of day to day tasks
• Lead a small crew and be able to train new skills and develop a team
• Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance programs on all buildings’ systems
• Semi-annual inspections of houses/apartments for plumbing issues, HVAC filters, etc.
• Maintain equipment, storage and work areas in a clean and orderly condition
• Meet daily with maintenance team

Depending on work load, some maintenance work orders may be assigned to this team as well.

REQUIREMENTS

• Time management and organization
• Thoroughness and attention to detail
• Able to carry 50+ pounds
• Able to climb ladders and stairs
• Able to lift over head at least 40 pounds

QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior Maintenance
  
  Experience:
  
  2-3 years minimum (Preferred)
• Driver's License
• Reliable Vehicle
• Proof of Insurance
• Smartphone

OTHER

• Required to have own basic tools
• Available for occasional weekend or evening work

Salary: $30 - $32 / hour based on qualifications
