LEAD HVAC Service Technician in Walker

Immediate opening for a Lead Service Technician.

Dayton Heating and Air Conditioning is a locally owned and operated company that has been serving East Baton Rouge, Livingston, Ascension parishes and outlying areas for over 80 years. We specialize in the installation, service and maintenance of residential and light commercial HVAC systems.

Position is full‑time. Benefits include paid vacation, holidays and 100% health insurance.

The service technician must be certified, have a current valid driver’s license with a good driving record to operate company vehicles, and a minimum of 2 years of experience or proof of HVAC education completion.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Order, replace warranty and non‑warranty components.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure jobs are completed on schedule to the highest standards.
• Remove and install new HVAC systems.
• Write itemized reports, diagnoses, cost estimates and sales orders/invoices.
• Communicate effectively with the Dayton team, employees and customers.
