Join our team as a Mechanic at our luxury outdoor resort, where you’ll be an essential part of keeping our operations running smoothly! Your expertise will ensure that our vehicles, equipment, and facilities are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional experience for our guests and staff.
About this opportunity- Compensation: Starting at $16.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Position type: Seasonal, Full‑Time.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a mechanic, with expertise in diesel and gas engine repairs.
- Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques.
- Experience with light trailer repairs and heavy equipment maintenance.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to perform repairs, including lifting, bending, and working in various outdoor conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
- Perform Routine Maintenance: Check and maintain fluid levels, change tires, and conduct regular inspections on all resort vehicles and equipment.
- Diesel and Gas Engine Repairs: Utilize your knowledge of both diesel and gas engines to diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently.
- Welding and Fabrication: Handle basic welding and fabrication tasks as needed to maintain and modify equipment.
- Light Trailer Repairs: Perform minor repairs on trailers to ensure they are safe and operational.
- Heavy Equipment Repairs: Diagnose and repair heavy equipment used throughout the resort.
- Driving Duties: Operate resort vehicles as needed to support maintenance and operational tasks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety standards, resort policies, and best practices in all maintenance activities.
- Record‑Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
