Installation Technician

The Installation Technician reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for performing a range of HVACR installation jobs for industrial, commercial, and residential customers. Customer-based activities require an individual possessing traits of decisiveness, initiative, tact, judgment, integrity, dependability, and the ability to communicate in a technically credible manner. Job-related contact can occur with virtually all demographic groups, with the majority of working contacts being customers, other Classic Aire Care, Inc.

• Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests
  
  Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

• Insurable driving record
• Must be able to pass a drug and medical screening
• Must have a clean criminal background check
• 3+ years of residential installation experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all types of customers
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Comfortable familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
• Demonstrated ability to forge strong relationships with clients
• Strong mechanical background
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects

• CFC Universal Certification
• NATE certification or the willingness to obtain certifications
• EPA Certification
• Journeyman license for St. Louis County and City or the willingness to obtain the certification
• A driven work ethic with the willingness to learn and grow
• Experience working for an established Heating & Cooling company.
