Field Service Technician I

New Orleans, LA

Pay and Benefits:

• Hourly Pay Range: $17.00 to $20.83 depending on location and experience levels
• Overtime available at time and a half

Our Field Services Team delivers solutions that build long-term relationships. As a first-line contact, you will communicate openly and helpfully with customers, triage issues, and provide solutions. • Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
• Service electromechanical equipment like self-checkout systems within an assigned territory.
• Perform maintenance, repair, preventive maintenance (PM), and system overhauls.

• Local candidate to specific geographic area
• Authorized to work in the US
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting NCR fleet requirements
• PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiarity with hardware and operating systems
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged travel with driving several hours per day
• Rotating and weekend shifts; flexible shift work with morning, afternoon, and evening start times including some holidays
• Carrying and lifting tools, parts, and equipment up to 75 lbs without assistance, up to 150 lbs with assistance
• Physical capabilities including bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and repetitive manual tasks
• Willingness to be trained on and operate small-scale scissor lifts in retail environments to service or replace networking equipment

• Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software
• A+ Certification, CompTIA Network+ Certification
• One or more years of related experience
