Wiring Assembly Tech Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Install electrical wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, breaker panels, and other electrical components in modular buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and work instructions
- Route, secure, and terminate electrical wiring while maintaining a clean and organized installation
- Measure, cut, strip, and connect wire using hand and power tools
- Install conduit, electrical boxes, mounting hardware, and electrical accessories
- Perform continuity checks and basic electrical testing to verify proper installation
- Troubleshoot wiring issues and complete repairs before final inspection
- Work closely with framing, insulation, drywall, finish, and final assembly teams to meet production schedules
- Follow National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines, company quality standards, and all safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Wiring Assembly Tech Requirements:
- Previous electrical assembly, wiring, construction, maintenance, or manufacturing experience required
- Experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics required
- Knowledge of basic electrical principles and safe work practices required
- Experience using drills, impact drivers, wire strippers, crimpers, multimeters, and other hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented manufacturing environment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb throughout the workday
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 60 pounds required
- Manual dexterity to work with small electrical components and hand tools
- Ability to distinguish wire colors and accurately identify electrical components
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures required
- Willingness to work overtime as production demands require
- Drive to Marionville for daily commute required
