We have a full‑time need for an Underground Laborer. The Underground Laborer places cables in trenches, splices conduit sections as directed, and supports crews, supervisors, and project managers to complete tasks in a timely manner.

• Assist in the loading/unloading of equipment and materials.
• Use a variety of tools and equipment to dig.
• Install different types of underground utility pipes.
• Operate heavy machinery.
• Uphold the mission, values, and safety protocols of Grid Source.
• Travel to different job sites as required.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in the broadband industry required.
  
  Working knowledge of construction, the National Electrical Code, OSHA regulations, state and local regulations, and general safety standards.
• Ability to reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch; occasional lifting and carrying of loads up to 95 lbs.
