Dolet Hills- Civil​/Mechanical Equipment Operator; Non Driver

Job Overview

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a skilled Civil/Mechanical Equipment Operator (Non-Driver) for our Dolet Hills project. This role involves operating various heavy civil and mechanical equipment on site to support construction and maintenance activities, ensuring safe and efficient project execution.

• Operate a range of heavy equipment including, but not limited to, excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, and compactors, following all safety protocols and project specifications.
• Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment, including fluid levels, tire pressure, and visual inspections, reporting any defects or malfunctions to supervisors.
• Assist in grading, excavating, back filling, and trenching activities according to project plans and blueprints.
• Move and position materials such as dirt, rock, and aggregates as required for construction and site preparation.
• Collaborate with ground crews and other operators to ensure coordinated and safe execution of tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area around equipment.
• Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations.
• Support other team members with various tasks as needed to ensure project completion.

• Proven experience operating heavy civil and mechanical equipment, with a strong emphasis on safety.
• Demonstrated ability to operate equipment with precision and efficiency.
• Basic understanding of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, grade stakes, and survey markers.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all company and site-specific safety regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including sitting for extended periods, climbing, and lifting.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions and challenging outdoor environments.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Relevant equipment operator certifications are a plus.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
