Job SummaryAs a Maintenance Technician II, you will maintain operating equipment, perform repairs, and adhere to company safety standards. This role ensures the equipment is safe and reliable for technicians to deliver superior service to our customers.
PayHourly rate: $33.00 (California only). Rate may be adjusted in the future.
Typical Responsibilities- Ensure all facilities and equipment are properly maintained and in safe working order.
- Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on manufacturing and packing equipment and electrical panels.
- Execute preventive maintenance in a timely manner.
- Document preventive maintenance, equipment repair, part usage, and other projects.
- Maintain spare parts inventory.
- Start equipment properly at shift start.
- Inspect and repair machines, equipment, electronics, mechanical conveyor systems, and warehouse facilities.
- Diagnose issues by observing and listening to machinery.
- Troubleshoot conveyor systems (mechanical and electrical).
- Min. 2 years as a multi‑craft technician.
- Knowledge of electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical systems, lighting, power distribution, drives, motors, bearings, conveyor systems preventive maintenance, PLCs, operator interfaces, CMMS, HVAC systems and controls.
- Ability to read simple electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawings.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Degree in a related field or vocational technical school, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with robotic operations and maintenance.
- Experience reading blueprints, electrical schematics, electrical and electronic principles.
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot under high pressure.
- Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods on uneven or slippery surfaces.
- Reach (including above head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel.
- Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.
