Job Summary:

The Hotel Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping the property safe, functional, and guest-ready. This role performs routine maintenance, preventative upkeep, and repairs throughout the hotel while responding promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform general repairs, including fixing leaky faucets, unclogging drains, patching drywall, painting, replacing door locks, and repairing furniture.
Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections to identify and resolve issues before they impact guests.
Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems, plumbing, lighting, laundry equipment, kitchen appliances, and other hotel systems.
Respond to guest and staff maintenance requests in a professional and timely manner.
Assist with maintaining compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
Help ensure the hotel maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and team members.

Experience:

1-2 years of maintenance, facilities, building, or hotel maintenance experience preferred.

Skills:

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC systems.
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb ladders throughout the shift.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
