Plant Electrician
Maintain and/or install electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and electronically controlled systems in the plant.
Job Duties
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for plant safety by observing persons entering your work area, asking if you can assist them, and reporting unauthorized persons to your supervisor.
- Attend training as required or approved by supervisor.
- Install and maintain conduit and wiring, switch gear and motor control centers, PLC equipment, scales, electronic process equipment, field electrical devices (switches, lighting, level, and pressure controls, etc.)
Education Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training preferred.
Preferred:
One year certificate from college or technical school; and three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience or Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
