Hours: 2:00 pm 12:30 am (four 10-hour days M-Th)

Starting Pay: $22.18/Hour (and up depending on experience)
Essential Job FunctionsUnder the general direction of the Lead Painter, this position is responsible for performing duties related to interior and exterior painting throughout the districts 33 buildings and grounds areas.
Qualifications- Must be a high school graduate
- Demonstrated excellent job performance and attendance
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in commercial painting or carpentry field or related experience
- Must be self-motivated and able to work overtime if needed
- Must possess or be able to obtain minimum Missouri Class E driver s license or equivalent with an excellent driving record
- Proficient in using all hand tools, power tools, carpentry/woodworking, and painting equipment
- Must possess excellent technical skills and expertise in additional specialty areas such as paint application with a brush, roller, and airless/HPLV sprayer, patching walls, ceilings, doors and taping new drywall
- Able to work at heights greater than 20 feet and on rooftops; able to lift 70 pounds on a routine basis
- Computer literate and familiar with word processing, spreadsheets (prefer Microsoft Word, Excel, FMX)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to relate to a diverse workforce
- Mobility to move in and around buildings
- Must be able to understand and communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, for all job-related duties and response to safety emergencies
