Position: Electrical Maintenance Mechanic 12am - 8am
Location: Gerald

SUMMARY:

Understands and reinforces the Company vision of being the best producer of steel pipe and tube in North America. Responsible for all aspects of production and facility related maintenance required to keep the plant and all units operating at top level.

ESSENTIAL

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Mill maintenance

Preventative maintenance jobs

Building and grounds maintenance

HVAC maintenance

Electrical maintenance

Mechanical maintenance

Plumbing maintenance

Welding

Parts fabrication

General repair work

Other duties as periodically assigned

OTHER ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Maintain regular and reliable attendance

Work cooperatively with others to ensure constructive and productive business relationships

Comply with all Company policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to do heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds)

Computer literate

Able to score a minimum of 70% on plant maintenance test

Have strong industrial mechanical and electrical knowledge and experience

Knowledge of PLC's, motor control sensors, limit switches, and electro/mechanical systems.

Able to operate hand and power tools, welders, cutting torches, meters, test equipment, cranes, hoists, forklift

Work well in a team-based environment

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or GED

Strong verbal and math skills

Ability to read a tape measure, micrometer, calipers

Able to work overtime and/or various shifts

Able to work in an environment without climate control
