Zomg The Handyman is hiring Smart Home Installers as independent contractors across California. Work is booked, scheduled and paid through our platform — you claim the jobs you want, keep your other clients, and get paid per completed job at an effective $50-$80 per hour depending on experience. Smart home work books as doorbell and camera installs, smart lock retrofits, thermostat replacements, and smart switch and dimmer swaps.
Visits are short, and customers frequently add devices once the first one is in.
- 2+ years of relevant trade experience
- your own tools and a reliable vehicle
- a smartphone for job photos and scheduling
- a clean background check
