Maintenance Technician

US Foods is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our Stock Yards St. Louis wholesale distribution facility. In this role, you'll inspect, troubleshoot, and repair production and warehouse equipment, refrigeration and HVAC assets, dock doors, conveyors, and building systems to keep operations running safely and efficiently. You'll execute preventive maintenance, document work in a CMMS, support safety and food-safety standards, and respond quickly to breakdowns.

Collaborate with operations and refrigeration teams in a fast-paced, cold-chain environment with opportunities for training, growth, and advancement.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair warehouse, production, and facility equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems
• Support maintenance and reliability of dock doors, conveyors, material handling, and building systems
• Document work orders, parts usage, and maintenance history in CMMSRespond to emergency breakdowns to minimize downtime and support operations
• Follow OSHA, food-safety, and company safety procedures and participate in safety programs
• Collaborate with operations, refrigeration, and external vendors on repairs and projects
• Assist with installation, upgrade, and commissioning of new equipment and systems
• Maintain tools, spare parts inventory, and a clean, organized maintenance work area
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency
