Integrated Facility Services (IFS) is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team serving commercial and industrial clients throughout the St. Louis region. If you take pride in technical excellence, safety, and delivering a great customer experience, this is a strong opportunity to grow with a trusted facilities services leader.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair ventilation, heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment
- Identify maintenance risks and communicate findings promptly
- Respond to customer questions and provide professional, courteous support
- Follow all service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements
- Perform emergency repairs efficiently and safely
- Participate in an after‑hours on‑call rotation
- Five years of technical training or equivalent HVACR work experience
- Strong understanding of HVACR systems and industry fundamentals
- Control system knowledge is beneficial, but not required
- OSHA 10‑hour Safety Training Certificate (or completion within 12 months of hire)
- Knowledge of safety requirements for high/low‑pressure gases, electricity, and hazardous materials
- Valid Class E driver’s license with clean driving record
- Universal technician certification (per 40 CFR Part 82, Subpart F)
- Ability to lift/carry 80 pounds and climb ladders carrying 50 pounds
- Ability to work on rooftops and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Punctual, reliable, and strong attendance habits
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Customer‑service mindset and ability to build positive relationships
