Polar Field Services, Inc. is seeking Maintenance Technicians for seasonal work in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. These technicians will keep mission-critical equipment and facilities running in the Arctic, supporting world-class science in one of the most remote environments on Earth. The ideal candidate is experienced in heavy-duty equipment and facilities maintenance, thrives in challenging conditions, and is eager to contribute to a collaborative team.

• $2,600 - $2,900 per week (salary)
• Employer-covered travel to/from Greenland
• On-site expenses paid while deployed
• Health and welfare supplement of $4.22/hour on the first 40 hours worked weekly

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years maintaining tracked heavy-duty equipment
• 5+ years facilities maintenance (welding/fabrication experience)
• Proficiency with diagnostic software, tools, and Microsoft Office
• Able to drive trucks, snowmobiles, and other polar vehicles
• Meet physical demands (confined spaces, extended standing, extreme cold)
• Valid U.S. passport and driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check and required physical/dental exams
