Hussey Copper, a Pantheon Electric company, is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician who enjoys troubleshooting, solving equipment problems, and seeing the results of their work. At our Eminence, KY Fab plant, you will work hands‑on with industrial electrical systems, motor controls, and PLC‑controlled equipment to support safe, reliable production.
Bring your industrial electrical maintenance experience and help improve equipment performance through repairs, preventive maintenance, and collaboration with Operations.
What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and mechanical equipment, including AC/DC motors, controls, instrumentation, and PLC‑controlled systems.
- Read schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and relay ladder logic to diagnose problems and complete repairs.
- Install, align, calibrate, and test equipment; maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, compressors, and machine tools.
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns to restore safe operation.
- Complete welding, fabrication, machining, and pipe or conduit work as needed; safely operate forklifts, cranes, hoists, and shop equipment.
- Coordinate repairs with Operations, document work, and assist with maintenance team training.
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures, use required PPE, and maintain a safe, organized work area.
What You Bring
- Two-year degree in industrial electronics and electrical circuits OR five years of related experience.
- Knowledge of AC/DC motors and controls, two‑and three‑phase circuits, Delta/Wye configurations, and relay ladder logic.
- Ability to troubleshoot PLCs, digital, analog, and radio‑frequency equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems.
- Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, machine tools, and lifting equipment.
- Ability to read technical documents, proficiently operate forklifts and cranes, and work the required overnight schedule.
Onsite industrial manufacturing environment. Required PPE includes safety glasses, steel‑toe metatarsal boots, hearing protection, and task‑specific protection. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
