Equinox Gold is seeking Mine Maintenance Mechanics to join their team at the Mesquite Mine in Imperial County, California. This role involves maintaining and repairing mobile mining equipment in a dynamic open-pit gold mining environment. The ideal candidates are safety-focused, mechanically skilled, and eager to grow their careers with a leading mining company.

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5 years of mechanical experience in a mine setting (preferred)
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mine equipment with guidance
• Effective communication skills in English (oral and written)
• Ability to pass written and practical exams
• Certification to operate a boom truck (must obtain prior to advancing)
• Ability to operate service trucks and assist in fueling mobile equipment
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including standing, walking, bending, climbing, and working on uneven surfaces
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and around mining hazards
• Willingness to wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety footwear, etc.)

• 5 years of mechanical experience in a mine setting (preferred)
