$36 to $50 an hour for experienced diesel technicians who know the craft. Major shop tools and diagnostic equipment provided.

AAA Truck & Trailer Services has served the St. Louis Metro transportation industry for nearly 30 years, and we are hiring senior diesel technicians for our Bridgeton shop who want a place to stay, not just the next stop.

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines on commercial semi-trucks
• Troubleshoot aftertreatment systems (DPF, SCR, EGR) and engine electrical faults using computer-based diagnostics
• Repair drivetrain, air brake, suspension and steering systems
• Complete preventative maintenance services and inspections
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and see repairs through from diagnosis to road-ready
• Support trailer and chassis repairs when the shop needs it
• Follow all safety procedures and shop standards
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on diesel engine diagnostic and repair experience on commercial trucks
• Experience performing preventative maintenance and repairs
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dependable attendance and punctuality

Preferred:

• 5 or more years as a diesel technician or diesel mechanic
• ASE or manufacturer certifications
• Trailer repair experience (brakes, air systems, lighting, landing gear)
• Welding experience
• Experience operating forklifts or other heavy equipment

• Fleet Mechanic
• Military Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic
