Detail Technician ; Manheim

Job Description

The Detail Technician is responsible for preparing, cleaning, washing, and waxing vehicles, removing defects, assisting with painting and minor repairs, maintaining tools and equipment, observing safety procedures, completing work orders, and documenting vehicle work. Position requires working at a specified Cox location; no remote option. Hourly base pay rate is $13.70–$20.53 per hour.

• Prepping, cleaning, washing & waxing cars.
• Removing defects and assisting with painting and minor repairs.
• Keeping tools and equipment in excellent shape.
• Observing safety and health procedures.
• Completing work orders and other vehicle documentation.
• Following regulations on paint and other tools of your trade.

• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Generally less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, squat, and lean for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of auto detailing, paint application processes, and associated repair procedures.

Successful candidates must clear a pre‑employment drug test. • Minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays.
