Maintenance Mechanic-Hvac

SUMMARY The Maintenance Mechanic in the HVAC Shop performs a variety of duties involving the maintenance, preventative maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Will be assigned a variety of functions (HVAC Maintenance & Repair).Will perform a variety of functions.

Must have extensive knowledge of industrial heating and cooling systems, boilers and pumps .Must have electrical troubleshooting knowledge.

Installation of a variety of equipment.

Repair of a variety of equipment.

Maintenance of a variety of equipment.

Ensure quality work performance.

Ensure Project initiatives.

Employees are required to drive company vehicles on a Federal Installation.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum of four years’ related experience and/or formal vocational/technical training.

Requires LP Gas certification within 6 months of hire.

Must maintain a valid driver’s license.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, managers and staff members.
