JOB SUMMARY:

Conducts troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance services.  Oversee the daily operations of the Beverage (filling, juice extraction and juice processing) department). Duties include Beverage machinery but not limited to the supporting utilities (Boilers, ammonia systems, compressed air systems).  Ensures all work within the department is carried out in a safe manner and complies with the policies set by the company.

Base Compensation: $36 - $42##

Job Description
* Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of Beverage equipment and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment during machine services.
* Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
* Make repairs to equipment using sound mechanical practices and techniques.
* Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of facilities supporting machinery.
* Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
* Develop welding skills for ARC, TIG, and MIG process and electrical troubleshooting skills through in house training.
* The maintenance Lead must be able to demonstrate competency with supporting utilities (Boilers, ammonia systems, compressed air systems).
* Support Maintaining of documents pertaining (PM’s, manuals, safety records, and permits) for retrieval upon request.
* Provide leadership and guidance to the Beverage (juice extraction/juice processing) mechanics on a daily basis.
* Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
* Perform other duties as assigned or needed.## Qualifications To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.
* Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
* Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
* Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
* Maintain basic computer skills to perform duties.
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions and extreme cold.
* Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
* Operations of HMI controls
* Knowledge of heat transfer, pressurized steam, boilers and other methods and techniques for processing liquids.
* Knowledge of the processes associated with chemically treating water. This includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods

* EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

* * Minimum 2 years machine operating experience*
