Position Objective Responsible for assisting with unloading fence panels, poles, and other materials at designated work site locations. Will also assist with the installation of driven fence. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Essential Job Functions Assist fence driver with conducting daily pre-shift vehicle inspection report

Assist in conducting a daily inspection of all tools assigned to the truck to ensure safety and proper working condition

Assist fence driver with checking loads to ensure that the truck has all materials (fence panels, poles, etc.) and tools needed to complete service tickets

Assist fence driver with unloading all fence materials and installing fence panels, with appropriate tools, at the work site in accordance with pre-determined specifications

Operate fence vehicle at, or to and from, pre-designated work sites as needed

Employee may be asked to work weekends and after-hour shifts, i.e., special events/emergency, based on operational necessity

Follow all established safety rules & regulations

All other tasks as assigned by management

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Competences HS Diploma or general education degree (GED) and min 6 mos. general labor experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions

Ability to document basic information on pre-designated forms

Ability to read, write, and communicate in English and Spanish Ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division calculations

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written & oral instructions

Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

Possess and maintain a current California Driver's License with a satisfactory and safe driving record.
