• Conduct intake and needs assessment, manage case processes
• Develop individualized service plans and monitor progress
• Collaborate with Tzu Chi teams and partners for integrated support
• Provide bilingual (Chinese-English) support including translation
• Offer home visits, emotional support, and emergency response
• Maintain accurate and confidential records
• Participate in trainings and embody Tzu Chi’s values

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related fields
• At least 1 year of case management or community service experience
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English; strong communication skills
• Familiarity with underserved populations and local resources
• Cultural sensitivity and alignment with Tzu Chi’s humanitarian mission
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database tools

• Experience in volunteering or working in nonprofit/faith-based settings
• Certified in CPR, emergency response, or mental health first aid
• Willingness to conduct occasional field visits or weekend events

Estimated Salary Range (Southern California): $23 – $30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
