Position: Community Housing Associate Director
Location: Saint John

About the Role

As a Community Housing Associate Director, you provide leadership and oversight for the development, implementation, and operation of programs serving transition‑age youth. The role includes overseeing operations of Rapid Rehousing, Independent Living, Maternity Group Home, Supported Apartments, and other assigned programs.

Responsi­blities

Provide strategic guidance and operational leadership for youth housing programs, ensuring program effectiveness, compliance with regulatory requirements, and fiscal accountability. Collaborate with organizational leadership and community partners to align services with the needs of at‑risk youth.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience equal to four years.
  • Familiarity with at-risk youth behaviors and barriers, and knowledge of the St. Charles area, its neighborhoods, and available services.
  • Supervisory experience and experience working with at-risk youth required.
  • Ability to be CPR certified and obtain a Class E Driver’s License.
  • Grant‑writing experience preferred.
Compensation

This is a salaried position, starting at $60,000 per year.
