** School-Based Support Specialist**, you’ll play a vital role in helping youth succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. In this position, you’ll provide hands-on support directly in the school setting while collaborating with families, educators, and community partners to promote resilience, recovery, and overall well-being.### ### ### ###
** What You'll Do
*** Deliver individualized behavioral health interventions aligned with treatment goals in a school-based setting
* Support students in building coping skills, improving social-emotional functioning, and developing daily life skills
* Partner with schools, families, and community providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
* Manage a caseload while maintaining timely, accurate, and compliant documentation
* Provide crisis intervention, follow-up support, and outreach when needed
* Conduct home visits to strengthen engagement with youth and families
* Assist with quality assurance efforts, data tracking, and program compliance
* Participate in supervision, ongoing training, and professional development opportunities
* Adapt to evolving student needs while supporting program goals through collaboration and flexibility### ### ###

** What You Bring
**** Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
*** Understanding of case management, rehabilitation, and treatment planning in behavioral health
* Knowledge of challenges impacting youth with mental health and/or substance use needs
* Ability to build trusting relationships with students, families, schools, and community partners
* Strong communication skills, including documentation and de-escalation techniques
* Ability to manage time effectively and coordinate services across multiple systems
* Comfort using electronic health records and standard office technology
* Strong initiative with a commitment to high-quality, person-centered care
* Ability to respond calmly and appropriately in crisis situations### ### ###
** Education & Experience Requirements
** Qualified candidates must meet
** one of the following**:
* Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, behavioral health, or a related field;
** OR
* ** Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field
** plus 2 years of relevant behavioral health experience**;
** OR
* ** Any 4-year combination of higher education and 2 years of qualifying experience;
** OR
* ** Associate’s degree in Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support;
** OR
* ** 4 years of full-time qualifying experience
** Qualifying Experience Includes:
